The Spirits TTB Setup Audit Report is used prior to running the TTB DRO Report to alert the user to missing TTB DRO setup fields that can affect the accuracy of the TTB DRO Reporting.  The is organized by up to four sections.  It scans all items, brands, and warehouses and alerts to issues within the following three sections: 

  • Item Master Issues
  • Processing Items in Storage Warehouses
  • Brand Issues

The fourth section is purely for reference: 

  • Warehouse List

Issues discovered by the report can be addressed by configuring the [[[TTB DRO Setup Fields]]]] on the individual data records or by using the [[[[TTB Setup Workbook.]]]]

 

Running the Report

The report is found under MODULES > PRODUCTION > PRODUCTION REPORTS > ORCHESTRATED REPORTS > SPIRITS TTB SETUP AUDIT

Selection Criteria

If you have a single Proprietorship, no selection criteria will appear before you run the report.

If you have multiple Proprietorships, the following selection criteria will appear and you must choose one of your Proprietorships to run the report against.

Item Master Issues

This report section will list any issues that might exist with the Item Master setup required for accurate TTB DRO reporting. 

This section will list the Item Code, Item Description and any one of 11 different ‘Issues’ (see details below) and is sorted by Item Code.  If there are no Issues identified, then this report section will be blank.

Possible Item Master Issues:

  1. Produced Item is missing a Default Proof value.
  2. Produced Item is missing a Brand value.
  3. Produced Item is missing Pack Type of Gallons value.
  4. Produced Item is missing a Pack Type value.
  5. Produced Item is missing a TTB Group value.
  6. Storage Item is missing Storage Report Covers assignment.
  7. Storage, Distill or Denatured Spirit Item is missing a DRO Produce and Store As value.
  8. Process Item is assigned to a DRO Produce and Store As value.
  9. Process Items that are missing a DRO Report As value.
  10. Storage and Distill items assigned a DRO Report As value.
  11. Reportable item not assigned a TTB Group.

 

Processing Items in Storage Warehouses

This report section will list any issues that might exist with the combined Item and Warehouse setup required for accurate TTB DRO reporting.  

It specifies Items with TTB Groups 'PRC- Processing Account,' 'BTL - Bottled/Canned' or 'RCK - Racked/Kegged' with a quantity in a Warehouse with a TTB Classification of 'STG- Storage.'  This section lists the Item Code, Item Description, Warehouse Code, the Item's TTB Group and the Item's Warehouse TTB Classification code.  If there are no Items assigned to Warehouse with the above criteria,  then this report section will be blank.

Brand Issues

This report section will list any issues that might exist with the Brand Master Data setup required for accurate TTB DRO reporting.

This section will list the Item Description and any one of 4 different ‘Issues’ (see details below in Brand Master Issues Identified) and is sorted by Item Description. If there are no Brand issues Identified, then this report section will be blank.

Possible Brand Master Issues:

  1. Whiskey and Brandy without BRAND Master > Category Type
  2. Missing BRAND Master > Fermentation Data > Distillation Proof
  3. Missing BRAND Master > Finished Goods Data > F.G. Proof
  4. Missing Brand Master > Category

Warehouse List

This report section lists out all Warehouses in the Orchestrated database required for accurate TTB DRO reporting.  This section does not alert to errors, it is purely for review.  It will always populate with data.  This section will list the Warehouse Code, Warehouse Name, Warehouse Type, Warehouse TTB Classification and Warehouse Tax Determination flag.
