Chrome Does Not Auto-Launch Citrix


If you are trying to access your Orchesrated database via citrix and it doesn't auto-launch on Chrome like it does via other browsers, this is due to how Chrome handles the Citrix Receiver different than other browsers.

 Step by Step Guide

  1. After clicking the Orchestrated icon, a file will be downloaded and represented in the bottom of the browser.
  2. Click the drop-down list button for the file in the download bar and select Always Open Files of This Type.
  3. Then, Click on the file itself to launch it the first time.  Upon doing that, next time you click the Orchestrated icon, it will allow Citrix to automatically launch.
